Privacy Policy

ScaleForger builds free planning tools for small and mid-size businesses: an AI Readiness Assessment, an Automation ROI Calculator, and an AI Tool Finder. This policy explains what we collect when you use them, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

You can use every calculator, assessment, and finder on this site without giving us your email. We only collect contact information (name, business email, and the details you type into a form) when you choose to email yourself a report, request an implementation consultation, or send us a message.

We also log a small amount of anonymous product-usage data — which tool you opened, whether you completed it, and which page you were on — tied to a randomly generated session identifier stored in your browser. This never includes your name, email, free-text answers, or anything you typed into a form field.

How we use it

Contact details you submit are used only for the purpose you submitted them for: sending the report you asked for, following up on an implementation inquiry, or responding to your message. We do not sell your information or share it with third-party advertisers.

Anonymous usage data is used in aggregate to understand which tools are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve them.

Consent and email

We ask for two separate confirmations before we act on your information: one to email you the results/report you requested, and a distinct, unchecked-by-default opt-in if you'd like occasional product updates. Checking one does not check the other, and you can decline both while still seeing your results on-screen.

We do not run newsletters or marketing campaigns at this stage. Emails you receive are transactional — the specific report or reply you asked for.

Data retention and deletion

We keep submitted lead information only as long as needed to respond to your request and for basic business recordkeeping. Anonymous session/event data is not linked to your identity and is periodically pruned.

To request a copy or deletion of any information you've submitted to us, use the contact form on this site and describe your request — we will respond and act on it directly.

Advertising and analytics

We use privacy-conscious, aggregate web analytics to understand traffic and improve the site; where configured, this may include Google Analytics. No advertising scripts run on this site today.
